Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Set Up Your myID Account
If you don’t already have a myID account, visit the myID website and create one. You will need to provide your name, date of birth, and a valid email address. This account is used to verify your identity for government services.
Step 2: Download the ServiceWA App
Go to the app store on your smartphone (Apple App Store for iPhones or Google Play Store for Android phones). Search for “ServiceWA” and download the official app. It is free to download.
Step 3: Log In to the ServiceWA App
Open the ServiceWA app and log in using your myID account details. Follow the on-screen prompts to link your myID to the app.
Step 4: Find the Fuel Support Payment
Once logged in, look for the “Fuel Support Payment” or “$100 Fuel Relief” option on the app’s home screen. Tap on it to start your claim.
Step 5: Enter Your Licence Details
You will be asked to enter your Western Australian driver’s licence number and other personal details. Make sure the information matches your licence exactly.
Step 6: Choose How to Receive Your Payment
You can choose to have the $100 paid directly into your bank account, or you can donate it to one of fifteen partner charities. Select your preferred option and follow the instructions.
